**Sample use case: Sales Order Processing** 

An example activity in our Accelerators for Sales is a “Create new Sales Order” Activity. This activity allows users to create a new sales order in SAP via the BAPI (similar to using the SAP transaction code VA01) using the input data from an Excels Spreadsheet. In combination with our Salesforce connector, customers can now automate the full sales order creation process. When a sales order has been marked as “closed won” the Salesforce connector kicks off the robot, which then enters the customer and sales order data in SAP, and books the new sales order. Additional steps such as preparing for the delivery or notifying other internal teams can also be included as part of the automated workflow.

**Sample use case: Handling incoming invoices and payments to vendors** 

Many of our customers use the pre-built activities of the Accelerators for Finance to automate month-end-closing tasks or for reading, entering, booking and paying incoming invoices. For invoice payment, the workflow starts with the storage of the incoming invoice, ready for the UiPath robot to pick up.  The robot uses document understanding technology to extract data from the invoice, then checks the extracted invoice data against the matching purchase order. The robot enters the extracted data into the SAP system using the UiPath activity for creating and posting an incoming invoice from the Accelerator (SRC\_BAPI\_INCOMINGINVOICE\_CREATE\_v2.2\_E). The invoice is booked in SAP and the payment is scheduled by using another activity from the Accelerator.

**Sample use case: Sales Order Processing** 

An example activity in our Accelerators for Sales is a “Create new Sales Order” Activity. This activity allows users to create a new sales order in SAP via the BAPI (similar to using the SAP transaction code VA01) using the input data from an Excels Spreadsheet. In combination with our Salesforce connector, customers can now automate the full sales order creation process. When a sales order has been marked as “closed won” the Salesforce connector kicks off the robot, which then enters the customer and sales order data in SAP, and books the new sales order. Additional steps such as preparing for the delivery or notifying other internal teams can also be included as part of the automated workflow.

**Sample use case: Handling incoming invoices and payments to vendors**

Many of our customers use the pre-built activities of the Accelerators for Finance to automate month-end-closing tasks or for reading, entering, booking and paying incoming invoices. For invoice payment, the workflow starts with the storage of the incoming invoice, ready for the UiPath robot to pick up.  The robot uses document understanding technology to extract data from the invoice, then checks the extracted invoice data against the matching purchase order. The robot enters the extracted data into the SAP system using the UiPath activity for creating and posting an incoming invoice from the Accelerator (SRC\_BAPI\_INCOMINGINVOICE\_CREATE\_v2.2). Receiving Goods and Services is an important process within Procure to Pay confirming that goods or services have been received per the purchase agreement (the PO). Bridled by high-volume manual invoice processing, the challenge of capturing accurate invoice data, and the high cost of EDI solutions, many finance leaders struggle to achieve their productivity and cost efficiency goals.

  

This Process Goods Receipt Solution Accelerator utilizes UiPath Document Understanding instead of stand-alone OCR technology to substantially increase data accuracy across the variety of incoming supplier packing slips (documents).
