The VA Certificate of Eligibility Agent determines Veterans' eligibility for VA home loans.

The VA Certificate of Eligibility Agent is designed to address the challenge of determining whether a veteran qualifies for a home loan through the Veterans Affairs program. Veterans often face complex eligibility criteria, including service history, discharge status, and other factors, which can make it difficult to ascertain their qualification for benefits. This agent simplifies the process by automating the evaluation of eligibility based on the data provided in VA Form 26-1880.

The agent works by verifying the veteran's information against the VA Eligibility Criteria and checking the validity of critical details such as Social Security Number and date of birth. It also uses a tool to confirm the veteran's military service record. Once the evaluation is complete, the agent sends a detailed email to the veteran, outlining their eligibility status and the specific criteria they met or did not meet. If the information provided is invalid, the agent ensures the veteran is informed of the issues preventing eligibility determination.

The agent is equipped with several tools to enhance its functionality. The VA Record Exists tool verifies the veteran's military service record. A Send Email tool is also available which sends a formatted email to the veteran with their eligibility findings. It also leverages UiPath Context Grounding to reference and determine criteria for eligibility of a Veteran for a home loan from the Veterans Affairs. These tools ensure accurate verification and effective communication, making the process seamless and transparent for veterans seeking home loan benefits.

How to use

1. Click the Download button.
2. In the Downloading an agent template window, select Download Solution. A .uis file containing the agent definition is downloaded to your machine.
3. Agent templates can also include Extras, a separate package containing assets for your agent (automations, custom escalations). Select Download Extras. A .zip file is downloaded to your machine.
4. In Studio Web, import the Agent definition .uis file as described in Importing a project downloaded from Studio Web.
5. If there are extras to upload, go to Solutions. For details, refer to Accessing the Solutions UI.
6. Upload the .zip file, as explained in Transporting a solution package, then deploy the solution. For details, refer to Deploying the solution.
7. You can now access your agent template from Studio Web and add any other tools deployed to your tenant.
